In The Streets Frederick takes place Saturday, September 12, 2026, in downtown Frederick along Market Street and Carroll Creek Urban Park. The day includes a 9 a.m. Market Street Mile race, the main festival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with live music on six stages, a Craft Beverage Experience from noon to 5 p.m., and the Up the Creek after party from 5 to 9 p.m. Started in 1983 with about 10,000 attendees, the festival now draws crowds of more than 75,000.
