What FestKit does for holiday markets

FestKit is booth management software for holiday markets: a seasonal installation runs for weeks, and FestKit sells and tracks each chalet by the week, weekend, or full run.

The same map, for your shoppers

What breaks without it

  • Some vendors want the full six weeks, others want one weekend — and both compete for the same chalets
  • No clean way to show which chalets are still open in week four
  • Deposits and balances tracked separately from the booking itself
  • A single map that goes stale the moment the roster rotates

How FestKit handles holiday markets

Sell the run, or sell a weekend

Bundle every week into a full-run offer, or publish per-week offers so makers can take exactly the weekends they want. The same chalet supports both without double-booking.

Rotation without a rebuild

Each week carries its own occupancy, so a chalet that changes hands three times over the run is three assignments — not three copies of your map.

Deposits now, balance later

Take a deposit at booking and invoice the balance before load-in, with both tracked against the same chalet booking.

A public page that stays current

Your listing shows what is genuinely still available this week, because availability comes from the same records your staff work in.

Ways to sell it

Price the season, the weekend, or the day

A booth on a date is the unit you sell. Bundle every date into one price, or publish them individually — the same booths stay correctly available across both.

  • Full run chalet

Every trading day of the market, one price

  • Weekend block

Friday–Sunday, priced above the weekday block

  • Weekday block

Monday–Thursday, for makers who want quieter days

Common questions

How do I sell holiday market booths by the week?
Create a date block for each week of the installation, then publish one offer per week. Each booth-week is sold independently, so a maker can take week two and week five while other makers take the rest.
Can vendors book a whole season instead of one date at a time?
Yes. In FestKit a booth on a specific date is the unit you sell, so you can bundle every date of the season into one offer with a single price, or publish one offer per date and let vendors pick. Many organizers list both — a season pass and a drop-in day rate — and the same booth stays correctly available for whichever dates are unsold.
Can I charge more for the busiest weekends?
Yes. Offers carry their own price, so a Friday–Sunday block can cost more than a Monday–Thursday block over the same chalets, without creating a separate map or a separate event.
Can vendors pick specific dates instead of the whole run?
Yes. Publish an offer per block or per date and vendors buy only the ones they want. Holiday markets commonly sell an 18-day, 11-day and 7-day option over the same chalets — each is just a different offer covering a different set of dates.
What stops two vendors from booking the same booth on the same day?
Every booth-date is held the moment a vendor starts checkout, so it disappears from the public listing while they pay. Checkout holds last 24 hours and approval holds last 3 days; if payment does not land, the hold expires and the booth returns to the pool automatically.
