About the event

The Canton Multicultural Festival is a free event created to celebrate and strengthen community relationships among the different cultures that co-exist in our wonderful City. The festival is not only a community outreach event, but it is also a way to reach the community through partnerships. The vision is to provide citizens within our community a glimpse of the many different cultures and their heritages. Countries from all over the world will be preparing tastings of specific foods native to their culture. We will also have traditional live performances, music, and interactive demonstrations to provide an authentic cultural celebration and learning experience for all of those who attend. El Festival Multicultural de Canton es un evento gratuito creado para celebrar y fortalecer los vínculos comunitarios entre las diversas culturas que conviven en nuestra maravillosa ciudad. El festival no es solo un evento de alcance cumunicario,sino tambien una forma de llegra a la comunidad a traves de colaboraciones. La visión es ofrecer a los ciudadanos una muestra de las diversas culturas y sus respectivos patrimonios. Representantes de países de todo el mundo prepararán degustaciones de platos típicos de sus culturas. Asimismo, contaremos con actuaciones tradicionales en vivo, música y demostraciones interactivas para brindar una auténtica celebración cultural y una experiencia educativa a todos los asistentes.
