About the event
The Chicago Jazz Festival takes over Millennium Park during Labor Day weekend, running Thursday through Sunday, September 3 to 6, 2026, with headline performances at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion. The Jazz Institute of Chicago partners on programming and staffs an information booth along the Great Lawn during the festival. The city's Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events produces the festival and also runs food and merchandise vendor licensing for it.
