About the event
New Englands largest annual FREE event. Four days of national and international entertainment at five performance locations. Traditional Portuguese food with numerous choices, including Madeiran Espetada, milho frito and malassadas! Performances from traditional Maderiran folkloric musicians and dancers. The Feast of the Blessed Sacrament will host its annual parade on Sunday, in the City of New Bedford. Madeira wine imported in giant casks by special agreement with the Madeiran Government. Opening day! Grounds open at 6pm sharp! Kick off the excitement at the Feast of the Blessed Sacrament with an unforgettable Thursday night headliner!
