About the event

The Cochrane Environmental Action Committee (CEAC) sponsors and operates the Cochrane Farmers’ Market. The market is run entirely by CEAC volunteers; proceeds from the market are used to support CEAC in its efforts to make Cochrane a more environmentally aware and active community. The outdoor ‘Market at the Ranche’ is the original market, established in 1998. The summer market is now the ‘Market by the Bow’, located at the SLS Centre. The Cochrane Farmers’ Market celebrated 25 years of operation in 2023. The Cochrane Farmers’ Market currently hosts two indoor markets – the Spring Markets and the Cochrane Christmas Farmers’ Market. Customers can enjoy shopping at the market throughout the year! The Cochrane Farmers’ Market is proud to be an Alberta Approved Farmers’ Market .
