The George Street Association is teaming up with St. John’s Pride and Labatt to bring you an EPIC night of celebration and competition: The 5th Annual DRAG ON GEORGE LIP SYNC BATTLE! This year’s Lip Sync Battle takes place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm on George Street’s Prince Edward Plaza stage! The 10 Drag Performers will compete to win the crown and a trip, plus accommodations to Toronto Pride 2027 courtesy of Labatt, The George Street Association, and St. John’s Pride! Blue Star , George Street, and St. John’s Pride! Since its debut in 1985, the George Street Festival has been a cornerstone of summer in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Now celebrating 41 incredible years , this iconic festival continues to unite generations through music, culture, and unforgettable street party vibes — and it’s only getting better!
