The Farmers Market at East Tennessee State University

About the event

In partnership with our contract with SODEXO for ETSU Dining Services, the following ETSU composts coffee grounds from the Dining Hall to be combined with dead organic matter that is composted for the landscape and eventually used as a soil and mulch The Department of Sustainability has been educating students, faculty, and staff since their start in 2008. We educate through our group of student workers, the Sustainability Ambassadors. Ambassadors act as peer educators to the campus community, providing programming and events in residence halls and throughout campus to promote sustainable practices.
