About the event
The Kansas City Renaissance Festival marks its 50th season in 2026, running Saturdays and Sundays from September 5 through October 18, plus Labor Day, September 7, all from 10 am to 7 pm. It also opens Monday, October 12, from 10 am to 5 pm. Founded in 1977, the festival has grown into one of the largest Renaissance festivals in the country, drawing about 200,000 visitors annually near Bonner Springs, Kansas.
