About the event
The Kahnawake Pow Wow, Echoes of a Proud Nation, has its own vendor rules distinct from the Kahnawake tourism office. Food booths need a 12 by 15 foot space and a fire extinguisher, and are encouraged to sell Indigenous foods like buffalo burgers, corn bread and bannock. Arts and craft booths are 10 by 10 feet and are reserved for goods made using Indigenous labor, such as beadwork, quillwork and pottery. Vendor participation is by invitation only, with a signed contract and full payment required in advance.
