Library closed Mon, Sept 7 & Bookmobile Scheduled Maintenance Week Aug 31 - Sept 7 Washed Ashore: Art to Save the Sea is making its way to the Topeka area this summer! This powerful traveling exhibit transforms ocean pollution into stunning art, like Bernie the Royal Blue Tang. This temporary exhibit in the Topeka Room explores one of the costliest and most devastating floods in Kansas history. Adventure starts with a map! Explore the world of maps in this fun art exhibit. Along the way get hands-on experiences with navigation, map making, and how maps help us tell travel stories. Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library, Alice C.
