The festival will be filled with music, food and fun for the entire family! Welcome to the home page for the 28th Annual North Plains Elephant Garlic Festival. This free event is operated by the North Plains Events Association for the City of North Plains. In these parts, North Plains is best known for the beloved Elephant Garlic Festival — its Signature event holding a lively three day celebration each August. At the heart of it all is Stinkee, our charming and cuddly garlic bulb mascot, who captures the spirit of this family-friendly event. The festival brings together locals and visitors alike to enjoy live music, artisan crafts, enjoyable activities and mouthwatering garlic-infused fare, all in a welcoming, community-centered atmosphere.
