About the event

OFM is a community service initiative by Ooltewah Nursery. The mission is to provide our neighbors access to fresh, healthy local foods, while also supporting local family farms, who are small agricultural family businesses, like the nursery. Fresh from your neighbors' farms, to your family's table. Because OFM is a "local-only" style of market, the produce will be what is in season now in our area. The farmers are generally harvesting the day before, which means what you receive is super fresh. Many shoppers find that it will typically will last longer in your fridge. Each week will be different as the year progresses, but we always have fresh produce at every market all year long. Eating local means embracing seasonality.
