Pompano Beach's Earth Day Celebration runs April 18 from 9 am to noon at the Patricia David Community Garden, 1089 NW 6th Ave. Activities include tree plantings, a ladybug release, flower pressing and bouquet classes, live entertainment, and refreshments of banana bread and lemongrass tea.
