The Roslindale Village Main Street Farmers Market is a staple in the community. The Summer Farmers Market typically begins the first Saturday in June and runs until just before Thanksgiving. The Winter Farmers Market generally starts in early January and runs though March. The RVMS Summer Farmers Market is Boston’s most prominent neighborhood farmers market, with 30 vendors and 3,000 customers weekly. Since the start of the market 30 years ago, it has generated $4 Million in the local economy for local and regional vendors as well as Roslindale businesses. The RVMS Farmers Market is also a food access point for all. In addition, the market serves SNAP/EBT and farmers market coupon recipients while supporting the Roslindale Community Fridge.
