Experience 300 fine artists lined along the streets to showcase a vast array of incredible talent in this juried event. Mount Dora Art League was founded in 1926, we are the oldest Art League in Florida. MDAL is compromised of artists who pay a yearly $25 membership fee to cover the cost of our monthly meetings. Membership meetings are held on the third Saturday of the month at 1pm at the Downtown MDCA Gallery 134 E 5th Ave. Meetings include an Art program, demonstration, Art events, and opportunities. A monthly Model Drawing, Open Studio, and Plein Air are also offered and open to the public. MDAL offers two Members Only exhibitions each Winter and Spring. MDAL offers the opportunity to members to display their art at the downtown MDCA gallery for a fee that includes a 2nd Friday Artist Reception 5-8pm with live music by Vic and open bar. Local Blueberry Farms will sell berries freshly picked from their farms along with fresh blueberry products. Crafters, live music, pancake breakfast, blueberry beer, wine and a blueberry pie eating contest will also be featured at this FREE event. Make sure you get tickets to the fresh blueberry pancake breakfast. All berries are locally sourced from farms in Lake County, Florida. Pancake Breakfast is served from 9am until 12pm. The pancake breakfast will sell out so be sure and get your tickets in advance. Coffee and mimosas will be available for purchase. Limited tickets will be available. $11 per person + $1 processing fee
