The Galena Farmers Market runs outdoors at the Galena City Hall parking lot from mid-May through late October, 7 am to noon, with no admission charge. From November through April, it moves indoors to the Eagle Club at 237 South Main Street on the second Saturday of each month, 8 am to noon.

The Galena Country Fair runs Saturday, October 10, 2026, 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, October 11, 10 am to 4 pm, at Grant Park, 625 Park Avenue. A $3 donation is suggested at the gate for more than 120 art, craft and fine art vendors, plus food like pork chop sandwiches and walking tacos, a wine garden, live music and children's games.
