The Great Bend Farmers Market, known locally as the Summer Street Stroll, sets up every Thursday during the growing season at Jack Kilby Square on the courthouse lawn in downtown Great Bend. Vendors sell fruits, vegetables, honey, arts and homemade crafts, and booth space is free for growers and makers who register with the Central Kansas Partnership. The market also accepts the Kansas Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program checks for income qualifying seniors.
