Modeled after Germany’s famous markets, this annual event offers fireworks, light displays, food, handmade crafts from over 180 local artisans, children’s activities, shopping, live music, and more. This family-friendly event, run by the Charles County Fair Board and launched in 2013, has turned into a Southern Maryland holiday tradition! We want to encourage locals and visitors alike to come out to enjoy the music, shopping, and tasty Christmas treats. We will have fresh holiday decorations available for purchase from local greens collected from local yards and fields, courtesy of Cardinal Creek Plant Farm’s Garden Center .
