The City of Peru Animal Control provides for the humane treatment of stray, neglected and abused dogs. We wish to provide our professional assistance for the health and protection of the residents of Peru. Our responsibilities include (within the CORPORATE limits of the City of Peru): -Investigation of animal bites, nuisance animals, unlicensed domestic pets. -Maintenance of the shelter facilities, including the dog park located adjacent to the shelter.
