The Ponca City Herb Festival is held the first Saturday in June each year with free admission on the grounds of the beautiful Cann Memorial Botanical Gardens, a 10-acre showcase of exquisite landscape architecture. Visitors to Ponca City Herb Fest will enjoy the radiant colors and aromas of blooming flowers, brick walkways, water features and a variety of ornamental plants, shrubs and trees during their visit. More than 100 vendors from Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Colorado and Arkansas have rows of fresh herbs, plants, vegetables, primitive birdhouses, yard and garden ornaments, quilts, arts and crafts, antiques, herbal vinegars and oils, handmade baskets, candles, jams and jellies, soaps, furniture, stoneware and more for sale. For the last 67 years , the 101 Wild West Rodeo Committee has worked to follow in the tradition of the Miller Brothers. In entertainment they hosted the best wild west show near and far. We hand pick our stock contractor, announcer, barrel man, and specialty guest to round out the rodeo experience.
