The Turner County Fair, South Dakota's oldest running fair, takes place August 17 through 20, 2026, in Parker. The free gate, four day event features 4-H exhibits, a midway, commercial exhibits and specialty foods like lamb chislic, tri tip sandwiches, pork loin sandwiches and elephant ears, run by a 30 member volunteer board and more than 200 event volunteers.
