About the event
The DC Funk Parade is a free, day long music and art street festival on U Street NW in Washington, celebrating funk music, visual arts and the neighborhood's cultural history, running annually since 2013. The event features live musical performances, live art demonstrations and community workshops alongside food vendors. Sponsorship and involvement inquiries go through The Musicianship, the parade's organizing nonprofit.
