About the event
The Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival, held at the Howard County Fairgrounds in West Friendship, brings together more than 250 vendors, 600 sheep and 40 workshops on fiber arts and shepherding. Visitors can watch sheepdog trials and shearing demonstrations, shop for wool and handmade textiles, and sample fair food such as lamb sandwiches and barbecue.
