About the event
Art in the Park, a South Portland tradition dating back to 1980, returns August 8, 2026, to Mill Creek Park from 9 am to 4 pm with free admission. Up to 170 artists show original art and photography, a food court runs 11 am to 3 pm along Ocean Street, and prizes range from a $1000 Best in Show to five $200 Merit Awards. The event is always held the second Saturday in August with no rain date.
