Ready for some crawfish? Dancing? The Cajun Heritage Festival is back with music to make you shake a leg. Expect more entertainment updates for the April 4 event. That’s the Saturday before Easter Sunday, so it’s a celebration. This fest will get you dancing at the Robert A. “Bob” Bowers Civic Center. Our Louisiana friends love to visit us. The festival promotes the shared history of Southeast Texans and Louisianans. How do we do it? Through music and food! We’ll keep you posted on the music, food and more. Events are set from noon to 10 p.m. Cajun Fest has hosted several award-winning musicians including Grammy Award winners Jo-El Sonnier and Wayne Toups. In 2024, Jamie Bergeron headlined. The 2026 lineup includes: Sean Vidrine & Friends, Chris Miller & Bayou Roots, Travis Matte & The Kingpins and Horace Trahan & Ossun Express.
