About the event
The annual Wellfleet OysterFest takes place October 17 and 18, 2026, the weekend after Columbus Day, in Wellfleet on Cape Cod. The two-day festival celebrates the town's oyster and shellfishing traditions with local cuisine, a fine art and craft fair, children's activities, eco-tours, live music, a road race and the Oyster Shuck-Off competition.
