About the event
The 12th annual Wyoming Outdoor Weekend and Expo runs May 15 and 16, 2026, at the Lander Community and Convention Center, with free admission. Friday brings a happy hour with free drinks and appetizers plus live music from 5 to 8 pm. Saturday opens at 9 am with outdoor seminars, fly casting and fly tying demonstrations, a turkey calling contest, and wraps up with the Wyoming Wildlife Federation's Wild Game Cookoff from 5 to 8 pm.
