The cabaret will start as soon as the last bull bucks! *Slack is defined as an overflow of event contestants. Each rodeo has a slotted number of performances with a max amount of contestants for each. We have more cowboys & cowgirls that register to be apart of Airdrie Pro Rodeo, and to ensure that each registered contestant has a fair run for the payout, we include our overflow contestants in Slack. Our Slack events include Tie Down Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, and Barrel Racing. Still the same high intense & professional athletes will be competing for the Prize money. The Airdrie Pro Rodeo is a piece of Airdrie’s heritage and what makes our community unique. As a sponsor they are becoming a part of this tradition that helps Airdrie maintain its rural root and its small town community culture.
