Autumn Historic Folklife Festival

The Hannibal Folklife Festival was created to educate and celebrate Hannibal’s rich history by showcasing traditional craftsman, artisans, artists, makers, food, music and performers in the period setting and architecture of Hannibal’s Historic North Main Street. The themed festival has been voted Favorite Festival in the area many times, consistently draws thousands of visitors from the Midwest region and hosts over 100 exhibitors. A great time to be in Hannibal! The 2026 commemorative poster was designed by local artist Sarah A. McUmber-House, who first created a festival poster in 1984, the earliest festival poster documented and included in the organization’s archives.
