Since the Fair’s establishment in 1919, The Delaware State Fair has promoted the culture of Delaware, agriculture, education and community involvement through quality entertainement in a family-friendly environment! At 10 consecutive days, the Delaware State Fair is the longest running fair in Delmarva, and the largest. Our goal is to bring folks from all walks of life to our fairgrounds for the annual summer celebration, as well as provide our community with exciting off-season events. The Fair uses its own Board members, as well as hundreds of volunteers from the community organizations, civic clubs and individuals to make up the necessary manpower and expertise that is needed to ensure that the Fair fulfills its mission.
