Cloudcroft Lumberjack Day is a free, non profit sporting event held every September at Ski Cloudcroft, now in its 33rd year. Competitor registration opens at 8 am, with axe throwing, log rolling and chainsaw competitions starting at 9 am, alongside arts, crafts and food vendors on site. The Cloudcroft Chamber of Commerce runs a companion Heritage Days car show the following day at Zenith Park.
