The Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival's mission is to celebrate and promote sheep and wool through presentations, competitions, and educational opportunities around the diverse range of sheep and wool related products and activities; and to provide a market place for the amazing range of products and services supporting and reflecting the versatility and benefits of sheep production for food and fiber.
The Festival is organized and conducted primarily by volunteers from the sheep breeding and fiber arts communities.
