Mount Jackson's new Junk & Jams market blends a vintage flea market with a farmers' market, held the second Saturday of each month from April through September, 9 am to 1 pm, at the Mayor's Park Gazebo. Each month carries a theme, from Floral & Fiddles on May 9 with bluegrass music to Apples & Americana on September 12 for the fall harvest, and vendors include farmers, pickers, makers and buskers as part of the town's 200th anniversary year.
