Mudbug Madness Festival is a three day Cajun festival held each Memorial Day weekend in downtown Shreveport at 101 Crockett Street. Since starting in 1984, it has grown to feature two stages with about thirty bands playing country, blues and zydeco, plus food and craft vendors, a children's area, and crawfish eating contests with boiled crawfish.
