During the Spring and Summer season we average more than 70 regular farmers and vendors at each of our weekly markets, making the Travelers Rest Farmers Market the largest independently-run, nonprofit farmers market in the state. The Travelers Rest Farmers Market first began in 2009 with a handful of local farmers and vendors, and was held in the parking lot of Sunrift Adventures. The TR Farmers Market then officially became designated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2014.
