The Jefferson County Truck Growers Association owns and operates the Alabama Farmers Market, a public wholesale and retail market in Birmingham. It includes indoor and outdoor produce areas, seasonal local-farmer sheds, retail and wholesale vendors, and a daily flea market.
The Grid's Saturday Farmers Market runs weekly from 9 am to noon with free admission at 211 Old Taylor Rd in Owens Cross Roads. Shoppers can find local farm produce, artisan bakers, specialty coffee, candles and ceviche from vendors in the outdoor market space.
Featuring fresh, locally grown produce; grass-fed meats; unique artisan crafts; and an Alabama authenticity that cannot be replicated, the Tuscaloosa Farmers Market has something for everyone!
