This market runs June through October at Washington Park, 100 Washington Avenue in Alamogordo, with hours Saturdays from 10 am to noon and Wednesdays from 6 pm until vendors sell out. It accepts SNAP EBT with Double Up Food Bucks, WIC, and the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program.

The Alamogordo Farmers' Market meets Saturdays from 10 am to noon, June 7 through October, at 100 Washington Avenue. It is one of the markets operated by the New Mexico Farmers' Marketing Association and closes over the winter.

The Burning of the Bull takes place October 17, 2026, from 6 pm to midnight at the Alamogordo Fairgrounds. The one-night event includes fireworks, live music, food and arts and crafts vendors, a beach ball toss, pinatas, folkloric dancers and a car show, capped by the ceremonial burning of a bull effigy.
