The Fayetteville Farmers Market has operated since 1973 and sets up on the Downtown Square Tuesdays from 4 to 8 pm and Thursdays and Saturdays from 7 am to 1 pm. Online orders can be picked up curbside or delivered around Fayetteville on Thursday afternoons.

We are excited to introduce something new, vibrant, and deeply rooted in what makes Fayetteville so special, Dogwood Nights, a downtown street dance series designed to bring our community together in a fun, safe, and welcoming way.Dogwood Nights is more than just an event, it’s a celebration of connection. This block party-style series will transform our downtown streets into a lively gathering space where families, friends, and neighbors can come together to dance, laugh, and create lasting memories. With a focus on inclusivity and community engagement, each event will feature a live DJ (or band), themed experiences, and opportunities for local businesses and organizations to be part of the energy.

4th Friday turns the streets of downtown Fayetteville into a street festival every month from March through October, with the October edition, a District Fall Festival, on Friday the 23rd from 6 to 10 pm. Local small businesses bring their stores outside while artists, performers, food vendors and makers set up along Hay Street. Fine artists, performers, artisans, food vendors and nonprofits can apply as vendors, with applications due by the 10th of the month.

"A Dickens Holiday" is a festive event that transforms downtown Fayetteville, NC, into a Victorian-era wonderland. Celebrating over 25 years, the festival offers a nostalgic journey with horse-drawn carriage rides, character actors from the period, and enchanting musicians and carolers. Visitors can explore over 100 unique vendors, enjoy delicious food, and participate in activities like the "Ghost of Christmas Past" exhibit. The highlight is a candlelight procession led by Queen Victoria, culminating in the lighting of the holiday tree, signaling the start of the season.
