Donations go to the Outer Banks Seafood Festival Endowment Fund and benefit and support the local fishing community and its members. Funds may be awarded to assist the fishing community with healthcare/medical emergencies, equipment needs or repair needs, food and supplies, and more. This event is the longest-running hang gliding competition in the world! The Hang Gliding Spectacular is the longest-running hang gliding competition in the world! We are excited to celebrate the 54th consecutive year of this event and have many fun activities planned! The Hang Gliding Spectacular and Air Games is FREE TO THE PUBLIC FOR VIEWING with fun activities all day long.
